Truman Adams is a professional artist based in Sarasota, FL, and a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design (Class of 2000). His diverse body of work spans residential and commercial murals, 3D and 2D street art, portraiture, live painting, mosaics, fine art, public art, and custom canvas commissions.

Truman Adams is a professional artist based in Sarasota, FL, and a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design (Class of 2000). His diverse body of work spans residential and commercial murals, 3D and 2D street art, portraiture, live painting, mosaics, fine art, public art, and custom canvas commissions.
Art has taken Truman around the world, where he has been featured in major street art festivals nationally and internationally. In 2017, he was one of 25 international artists selected to compete for $650,000 at Dubai Canvas’s 3D Street Art Competition, centered on the theme of happiness. Closer to home, Truman has participated in the Sarasota Chalk Festival annually since 2009. His 3D street art, murals, and mosaics can be found in public spaces throughout the Gulf Coast.
Most recently, Truman completed Amphitrite, a mural commissioned by the City of Sarasota in the summer of 2024 as the inaugural work in Sarasota’s Florida Legacy Arts Mural Series.
On November 5, 2025, his mural concept Niche ArT (concept design above) was unanimously selected as the winning design for a national public art call—chosen from 133 artist submissions for a $45,000 commission.

When pricing a mural or custom piece, I consider several factors — including square footage, estimated time to complete, level of detail, equipment needs, and travel distance. My average rate is $35 per square foot, with a $1,000 minimum for single-day projects.
