Truman Adams Truman Adams is a Sarasota-based professional muralist and fine artist whose work blends realism, surrealism, and immersive 3D illusion. He creates visually striking, interactive environments across public, commercial, and residential spaces, with a focus on large-scale murals, anamorphic street art, and paintings on canvas. Truman has been featured in festivals and public art programs both nationally and internationally. His most recent public works include Amphitrite (2024), the first completed mural in Sarasota’s Florida Legacy Mural Series, and Niche ArT (2026), a major city commission he was selected for through a national call with 133 submissions, recognized for its innovation and strong community engagement.
How To Commission A Project
When pricing a mural or custom piece, I consider several factors — including square footage, estimated time to complete, level of detail, equipment needs, and travel distance. My average rate is $35 per square foot, with a $1,000 minimum for single-day projects.
A 50% deposit is required to begin scheduling and design.

An optional up-front design fee is now available for $1,000 to see one round of design options before committing to the whole project. Design fee cost is subtracted from 1/2 deposit before painting begins.
